Our parties are 2 hours of instruction plus 1 hour for socializing, but we can customize to meet your needs. All supplies are included and we can accommodate groups of up to 24.

Our studio is stocked with some glassware and a very small fridge. You are encouraged to bring refreshments and food. There are plenty of fabulous options for lunch or dinner if you wanted to order in - Sushi Jo's or Atlas Cafe are both right next door and have excellent take-out!

1. Acrylic Painting or Print Making
$45/pp | Min. $360 | 2 hours instruction | 3 hours studio time

You will explore your creative side with your friends in a fun and positive environment. You will be able to take home your art work at the end of the party. We have lots of fun projects that ready for you and your friends to get into!

2. Life Drawing
$45/pp | Min. $360 | 2 hours instruction | 3 hours studio time

When was the last time you got together with friends to draw a live model? Drawing experience is welcomed, but not required. Our instructor will be on hand to guide you. We will arrange a model, which is included in the cost.

3. Clay
$55/pp | Min. $440 | 2 hours instruction | 3 hours studio time

Who doesn't like getting messy with Clay? You will be hand building and creating your very own mug or small bowl. At the end of the class you will choose your glaze colour and we will fire them for you! Your art work will be ready in about 2 weeks for pickup.

Lupine Art Studio strives to be a space for all artists whether novice or advanced. We want to be a local hub for creative art making in the Comox Valley. Our space is welcoming and supportive – everyone can feel comfortable (and sometimes brave) making art and having fun creating with their hands.

MISSION STATEMENT
Lupine Art Studio seeks to deliver fun, interesting and exceedingly creative art classes and workshops within an atmosphere of acceptance and encouragement. Facilitators are passionate about art and are committed to working with partners in the community. We believe everyone has an inner artist just itching to get out!

Who we are…

Jess has been dreaming about an art studio since she was in her early twenties… and Derek has been dreaming to start business with more community involvement for years. Finally, after 18 years together they decided that time was right for making both of their dreams come true. Because is there a better time to open a new business than when you have two small children? They thought not.

There are as many different styles of art as there are people in this world. Everyone has something unique to bring to the canvas, the paper, or the slab of clay. Sometimes it just takes a pinch of bravery to let your own creativity shine through.  -Jess Kaufman

Jess has been dreaming about an art studio since she was in her early twenties\u2026 and Derek has been dreaming\u00a0to start\u00a0business with more community involvement for years.\u00a0Finally, after 18 years together they decided that time was right for making both of their dreams come true. Hi! I am Natasha. I started practising yoga after I went travelling to India. It was wonderful to see how so many people were sitting together to start..

This inspired me to practise it, not only for my well being but also to let others know, that there is a way to take care of one's body..outside the gym and in the open..

We can set up your event as private or public, or both (go public after your people sign up). Our projects are designed for all skill levels, so you don't need to worry about how much experience everyone has.
