Class Description:
This class is delivered online with limited seats for a highly interactive experience with your instructor.

Art journaling is the process of using a combination of words and imagery to express a thought, idea or feeling. Expand your watercolour techniques and learn how to beautifully combine words and images, colours and patterns. Using inspiration from nature, quotes and prompts, you will learn a guided yet intuitive process of art journaling.

Online Format:
This class will be delivered using the app Zoom that you will need to download. You can participate using your mobile, tablet or desktop. Prior to the class, you will be emailed instructions on how to connect with the classroom.

*Please note: Our goal is to create a highly interactive classroom environment and be able to give personal feedback to each participant. Therefore we ask that only one person attend a class per registration.

Who is this class for:
Level 2
Focus: Skill Development
Adults only please. Level 2 classes are designed for those who have been introduced to the medium and tools and seeking continued learning and practicing. Skill development beyond basics will be the focus. These classes are ideal to be taken repeatedly for continued practice.

Supplies:
Below is a list of supplies for this class. We have made arrangements with local suppliers to provide a Lupine Watercolour Pack that will give you everything you need.

  • Watercolour journal OR sheets of watercolour paper
  • Watercolour paints
  • Watercolour brushes
  • Rag
  • Water container
  • Scrap paper
  • Pencil
  • Ball point pen
  • Fine tip permanent pen
  • Sewing machine OR needle and thread
Optional supplies:
  • Watercolour pencil crayons
  • Water-soluble crayons (Neocolour II by Caran D’ache)
  • Fine line acrylic paint pens (Posca, Molotow, Sharpie)
  • Gellyroll pens
  • Rubbing alcohol (isopropanol)
  • Pencil crayons
  • An old book or magazine
