Bird’s Nest Baskets with Amy Dugas

Class Description:
Join Amy for random weaving gone wild! We will use traditional Japanese random weaving principles and a combination of basketry reed and natural materials to create unique, organic bird’s nest style baskets. This free and creative weaving style means anything goes and everything will be its own work of art.

Suitable for all levels, this class is fun, relaxed and hopefully, just a little bit wild!

Natural material are a key part of this basket and may vary in availability, so come with an open mind and your own found materials if you like!

What is included:
All supplies to create your own beautiful basket are included – you just need to show up!

Who is this class for:
Level 1
Focus: Learning the Basics
Open to adults of all skill levels. This Level 1 class is for students with little or no experience. You will learn the basic skills for use of tools and introduction to the medium.

What to bring:
Just bring yourself, but wear clothes that can withstand the elements (i.e. glue, paint, etc.) of a fun, creative art studio. Please bring your own face mask.

Other things you should know:
Please arrive no more than 5 minutes before scheduled start time.
