Class Description:
This class is delivered online with limited seats for a highly interactive experience with your instructor.
In “Drawing the Human Form” you will receive practise in the basics of drawing using the expressive human form as inspiration. Working in a variety of media and mostly from photos and masters’ drawings, you will explore various skills including; contour and gesture drawing, values and how to correctly measure proportions. Part of the class will also focus on skills in drawing the human portrait.
If you want to get more out of the class, homework will be given for you to further practice exercises on your own time, but is completely optional.
This course is based on many techniques from the renowned book “Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain” by Betty Edwards.
I loved my drawing classes with Tracy. She is always supportive and gentle with suggestions. I am absolutely amazed at how much knowledge I have gained and how my drawings have progressed. The space is perfect and the cookies are always delicious!” – Sheila Lynn Nugent-Smith
