How to Draw Facial Features

Class Description:
Break down the challenge of portraits by focussing on specific aspects of a face: nose, lips, eyes, mouth and hair. By working from photographs and masters portraits we will spend time narrowing in on particular features, breaking them down into line, shape and value. Afterwards you will apply this practise to copying a master portrait drawing of your choice.

Materials used will be graphite, charcoal, pastel and pen.
