Drawing 2 – Landscape Drawing – ONLINE

Class Description:
This class is delivered online with limited seats for a highly interactive experience with your instructor.

Learn some of the skills behind capturing believable and inspiring landscape scenes in drawing. In this
class we will practice techniques for drawing landscape features such as trees, water, rocks and clouds.

You will also discover how to arrange an interesting composition, create convincing perspective and add human elements to your drawing such as buildings. You will use drawings and paintings for inspiration, as well as learn how to work from a photograph. Materials you will explore are:
pencil, pen and ink and charcoal.

If you want to get more out of the class, homework will be given for you to further practice exercises on your own time, but is completely optional.

Online Format:
This class will be delivered using Zoom, which will need to be downloaded in advance (no additional fee for using). You can participate using your mobile, tablet or desktop. Upon registration, you will be emailed instructions on how to connect with the classroom.

*Please note – Our goal is to create a highly interactive classroom environment and be able to give personal feedback to each participant. Therefore we ask that only one person attend a class per registration.

Who is this class for:
Level 2
Focus: Skill Development
Adults only please. If you have no drawing experience, please take the Very Beginner Drawing Workshop prior to this class. This Level 2 class is designed for those who have been introduced to the medium and tools and seeking continued learning and practicing. Skill development will be the focus. These classes are ideal to be taken repeatedly for continued practice.
