Oil Painting 2 – Considering Colour

Class Description:
In this lively oil painting class with Madeleine, you will do a deep dive into the world of colour! You’ll spend time creating works with particular attention paid to colour. Some concepts you’ll explore are: how to mix any colour, how artists have used it historically, and how to create and stick to a colour palette, amongst other notions.

Each class you take builds on skills and gives you more tools for your painting toolbox!

Who this class is for:
Level 2
Focus: Skill Development
Adults only please. This Level 2 class is designed for those who have been introduced to the medium and tools and seeking continued learning and practicing. Skill development will be the focus. These classes are ideal to be taken repeatedly for continued practice.

If you have never painted with oils before, please take the Very Beginner Workshop prior to this class to learn the basic skills of oil painting.

What to bring:
We have some aprons, but wear clothes that can withstand the elements (i.e. glue, paint, etc.) of a fun, creative art studio. Please bring your own reusable mask. Nothing else is required.
