Playing with Watercolour

Class Description:
Need to loosen up? Come play with mark-making in this watercolour class. We will focus on broadening your repertoire of watercolour techniques through different types of brushwork and unconventional mark making tools. After a playful exploration of techniques, you’ll put your discoveries into action developing landscape-based imagery. We will also discuss colour palettes and how not to make ‘mud’ as you layer up your techniques. You will come away with fun new ways to loosen up in your painting or art journaling.

All supplies are included. That means you just show up!

Who is this class for:
Level 2
Focus: Skill Development
Adults only please. Level 2 classes are designed for those who have been introduced to the medium and tools and seeking continued learning and practicing. Skill development beyond basics will be the focus. These classes are ideal to be taken repeatedly for continued practice.

What to bring:
We have some aprons, but wear clothes that can withstand the elements (i.e. glue, paint, etc.) of a fun, creative art studio. Nothing else is required.
