About the Artist:
Mark is an artist and a teacher who has spent most of his adult life travelling the world. Born in England, Mark studied Fine Art at Kent Institute of Art and Design (KIAD) before completing a BA Honours degree in Illustration at Liverpool John Moores University and more recently a Bachelor of Education at Ambrose University in Calgary. He has had his work displayed in various locations in the UK most notably at the Mall Galleries in London as part of the New English Art Club (NEAC) Annual Exhibition. He is a published illustrator and a past member of The Island Illustrators in Victoria BC. Now settled in Canada he splits his time between drawing and painting, and classroom instruction.

Mark believes that everyone can be an artist and that belief and practice are the key to success – As Henry Ford once said, “Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t, you are probably right!”
