Very Beginner Oil Painting Workshop

Class Description:
Learn how to paint with oils in this 3 hour workshop designed for very beginners! You will be guided through the basics such as paint brush selection, how to mix paint to create the colour you want, and about the qualities of oil paints that make them so alluring.

It’s not about the finished product in this class – we will be focusing on techniques and skills that will start you on your oil painting journey. After this workshop, you will feel more confident to take other classes or work on your own paintings at home.

After this workshop, you will feel confident enrol in any of our Level 2 Oil painting classes!

What is included:
All supplies are included. That means that you just show up!

Who is this class for:
Level 1
Focus: Skill Development
Adults only please. This Level 1 class is for students with little or no experience. You will learn the basic skills for use of tools and introduction to the medium.

What to bring:
We have some aprons, but wear clothes that can withstand the elements (i.e. glue, paint, etc.) of a fun, creative art studio. Nothing else is required.
