Watercolour en Plein Air – Local Flora

Class Description:
You’ll spend your time outside walking around downtown Courtenay and surrounding area with your sketchbook and watercolour set with accomplished watercolorist, Clive Powsey. You’ll be examining, learning about, and ultimately visually recording the local flora. This is a great way to learn about and learn HOW to learn about a variety of plants, as well as learning technical watercolour skills.

What to bring:
We will be walking outside for most of the day, so please wear comfortable shoes and appropriate clothing. It is recommended that you bring your own travel watercolour set and watercolour sketchbook, but we will have supplies available if needed. Please bring your own reusable face mask.

Who is this class for:
Level 2
Focus: Skill Development
Adults only please. This Level 2 class is designed for those who have been introduced to the medium and tools and seeking continued learning and practicing. Skill development will be the focus. These classes are ideal to be taken repeatedly for continued practice.
