Acrylic Painting 2 – Texture and Contrast – IN STUDIO or ONLINE

Class Description:
In this session you will learn about texture and contrast to take your paintings to the next level. We will use these elements and principles of design to guide us as we examine artists throughout history.

Throughout our 5 classes we will do a variety of exercises together. One class will focus on form, the next will focus on unity, and the third will focus on copying a master work.

During the last two classes you’ll gain the confidence to analyze the elements within your own painting such a breaking down the composition, figuring out the values, deciding on the colour palette, and creating a specific mood – with lots of guidance and support of course!

This is a hybrid class – some people will be in the studio while others are online via zoom.

Bonus: We record the online version of this class, so if you miss one we can send you the recording!
